The beaches of Lake Garda are approx. one hour drive, as is Venice.  The shores of the Adria (Chioggia, Jesolo) are 1 hour 30 minutes by car. The villa has no swimming pool. That is the only downside. There is a large park around to put up an inflatible. The closest public pool is in Lonigo, a couple of minutes from the villa. It is located in Via Filippo Turati 7.  Adults 7 euro, children under 12 5 euro.

fast cars

Maranello with the Ferrari Factory and Museum is 150 km (1,5 hours) distance, as is the Enzo Ferrari Museum by famous British architects Future Systems in Modena. In Modena is also the Maserati Museum of collector Panini. The Lamborghini Museum in St. Agata Bolognese is at the same distance, in between Bologna and Modena.

fabulous food

Great Italian food comes from this region. Why not visit the Prosciutto Museum in Parma (150km, 1,5 hours), the Parmigiano or the Pomodoro (tomato) Museum? Or just enjoy the markets, food sold along the road or the major Supermercati and bring food home to cook and eat together.
